Skwyard Family Access is the system used by the district for annual enrollment verification, communication via email, and for official reporting of student attendance as well as final grades.

Most information in Family Access is in real-time. However some day-to-day grade reporting will be found in Canvas.  Canvas is both gradebook and learning tool.  Details of student learning like assigned work, missing work, notifications and other instructions are all found in Canvas. Please see https://www.dsisdtx.us/Page/2508 for more explanation on Canvas, including a slide presentation on access and use by both parents and students.

 

How do you get to Family Access OR Canvas?

Accessing the Family Access portal is simple.  Click on this link to be connected, and then login with the username and password for your family access account.   Passwords and logins were assigned at enrollment, please contact your school for login help.
