The Better Business Bureau offers speakers on topics of interest to students and would be a great opportunity for a parent/student program:

Presentations usually last at least 30 minutes and may be followed with a question and answer session. Requests for longer presentations and luncheon keynote remarks are also welcome. (free)

The Austin Water Conservation Speakers Bureau consists of conservation staff members who speak on topics such as water conservation, irrigation, leak detection, and water waste. They are available seven days a week for day and evening presentations to speak to a variety of audiences.
