The Better Business Bureau offers speakers on topics of interest to students and would be a great opportunity for a parent/student program:

The Austin Water Conservation Speakers Bureau consists of conservation staff members who speak on topics such as water conservation, irrigation, leak detection, and water waste. They are available seven days a week for day and evening presentations to speak to a variety of audiences.
