Sycamore Springs Middle School and Sycamore Springs Middle School PTAs have each earned the National School of Excellence designation for 2022-24! FOR THE SECOND TIME! 

National PTA Schools of Excellence are designations achieved in recognition of a school's commitment to building an inclusive and welcoming school-community where all families contribute to enriching the educational experience and overall well-being for all students. Just by enrolling, the school community is making a year-long commitment to identifying needs and creating an action plan. The National PTA School of Excellence designation is awarded when a PTA and school have achieved an exhibited and high level of family-school partnerships. 

Sycamore Springs Middle and Elementary campuses are both 7 years old.  And this is their second time being designated as a School of Excellence. In DSISD, we are very proud that several of our schools have achieved the School of Excellence status at:

-Dripping Springs Elementary School

-Rooster Springs Elementary School

-Cypress Springs Elementary School
